“Here’s a literal snapshot of my first ever visit to New York – there’s not much to say by way of explanation. I tried to avoid ‘tourist’ shots but then got a bit carried away at the Ground Zero memorial. Also, I couldn’t resist one of the Empire State – ever present and looming, until you’re right next to it – when it suddenly becomes invisible.
My favourite picture is the one of the Neenah Foundry manhole cover. I wonder if they make ambulances too.
Aren’t American cars the best/worst? I think those ‘wood panelled’ station wagons are fab.”
